MUSIC ON TAP by CHRIS MATTHEWS
Raised in the Woodlands of Central Oklahoma; Chris Matthews has exploited the lifestyle of ranching, corruption and the unforgiving land of Indian Territory through a “gothic country” approach. With a wide range of music taste spanning from Chris Knight to Deftones, Mac Miller to Stone Temple Pilots, Matthews shows the influences of the musicians he holds high in his eyes throughout his songwriting. With a “dirt under the nails” sound and Mellon Collie - guitar playing, it’s easy to see how the young artist fits naturally in the Americana genre.
